Editorial Independence & Academic Decision-Making
ARCITECH separates scholarly decision-making from institutional administration and financial matters. Manuscripts are assessed on relevance, originality, methodological soundness, scientific contribution, reliability, and publication ethics.
- Editorial decisions are made by authorized editors according to the journal’s published procedures, informed by independent peer review.
- The publisher, journal management, sponsors, donors, and APC-related administrative functions must not direct acceptance or rejection of an individual manuscript.
- An editor who is an author, collaborator, supervisor, or otherwise conflicted in relation to a submission must not manage its editorial assessment or decide its outcome.
- Conflicted submissions are assigned to an appropriately qualified, conflict-free editor and independent reviewers; the handling and decisions are documented within the editorial workflow.
See Peer Review Policy & Editorial Decision and Publication Ethics.
Management, Authorship & Competing Interests
Membership of the editorial team does not exempt an author from the same scientific and ethical standards applied to other submissions. Editorial service, professional position, affiliation, or personal relationships do not guarantee publication.
Potential conflicts involving authors, reviewers, editors, or the publisher are identified and managed according to the journal’s policies. Where a complaint concerns a person responsible for handling it, assessment should be assigned to a person with no relevant conflict.
Related policy: Complaints & Appeals Policy.
Peer Review & Editorial Accountability
ARCITECH operates a double-blind peer-review model for research manuscripts. Articles sent for external review are assessed by at least two independent subject specialists. Reviewer recommendations are advisory; final decisions belong to the authorized, conflict-free handling editor.
Editorial and peer-review records are retained within the journal’s editorial workflow, subject to legitimate confidentiality, privacy, and institutional record-management requirements. Journal-management personnel support the process without substituting administrative decisions for peer review.

Publishing Charges, Rights & Access
ARCITECH publicly discloses its article processing charges. Submission is free of charge, and any applicable APC is payable only after manuscript acceptance. Payments do not influence reviewer recommendations or editorial decisions.
