Access Policy
Immediate Open Access
ARCITECH: Journal of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence provides immediate, free online access to its published research articles. The journal does not impose subscription charges or a pay-per-view barrier on readers. The open-access commitment applies to published scholarly content, subject to the licenses and rights notices stated with each article.
This policy describes access for readers. Rules governing author self-archiving and long-term preservation are addressed separately in the Open Access & Repository Policy.
Access to Published Full Text
Readers may view article landing pages, read abstracts, and access the available published full-text files—including PDF versions provided by the journal—without paying a reading fee. Articles are made available through the official ARCITECH website following publication.
Published articles may be read, downloaded, printed, searched, linked to, and cited within the terms of applicable law and their stated licenses. Access to full text must not be confused with an unrestricted right to commercially exploit or relicense third-party materials.
Conditions for Reader Access
No embargo: the journal does not apply a waiting period after the online publication of an article.
No reader registration: a personal account, OJS login, or subscription is not required to read and download published articles.
No reader fee: access is not conditioned on paying an article-viewing or download charge. OJS registration is used for activities such as submitting manuscripts or participating in editorial workflows, not for obtaining access to the public full texts.
Open License and Copyright
Authors retain copyright in their scholarly articles. Unless an article lawfully specifies otherwise, ARCITECH publishes under the Creative Commons Attribution–NonCommercial–ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0).
Under this license, users may share and adapt licensed content for noncommercial purposes when they provide appropriate attribution, indicate changes where applicable, and distribute shared adaptations under the required same or compatible license. These permissions do not automatically extend to materials expressly identified as excluded from the article license or owned by third parties.
See the official Creative Commons license and ARCITECH’s Copyright & Licensing Policy for detailed conditions.
Access Is Independent of Publication Fees
ARCITECH distinguishes charges paid by authors for editorial and publishing services from the rights of readers to access published research. Manuscript submission is free; an Article Processing Charge (APC) is applicable to accepted articles under the fee schedule publicly announced by the journal.
Authors’ APC payments do not create a subscription or paywall for readers. Readers are not required to pay the APC or any other article-access fee.
For applicable rates and payment rules, consult the Article Processing Charges (APC) page.
How to Access ARCITECH Articles
Start from the Current Issue or the Archives. Choose the article of interest and follow the full-text or PDF link available from the article page. When citing a paper, use the authoritative bibliographic record and DOI if one has been assigned.
Author Self-Archiving and Repositories
ARCITECH permits authors to share preprints, Author Accepted Manuscripts (AAMs), and published Versions of Record (VoRs) through appropriate scholarly repositories, subject to valid rights and any third-party restrictions. The journal imposes no repository embargo on these versions.
Readers may find lawful copies in repositories, but ARCITECH’s official article page remains the primary reference for the journal version and linked notices. Detailed permissions and deposit conditions are described in the Open Access & Repository Policy.
Access to the Scholarly Record
An article may later be accompanied by a correction, expression of concern, or retraction. ARCITECH seeks to maintain transparent links between the original publication and any relevant notice, so readers can interpret the published research in the proper scientific context.
Post-publication actions are governed by the Corrections, Retractions & Expressions of Concern Policy. This Access Policy does not authorize the silent removal of published scholarly records.
Technical Access and Accessibility
ARCITECH aims to keep its public article pages and published files accessible through its official journal website. Short-term unavailability caused by technical maintenance, outages, or file errors does not change the journal’s no-paywall access policy.
Readers who encounter a broken download link, an inaccessible PDF, or another access problem are encouraged to report the article URL and a description of the issue to the editorial office. Accessibility concerns will be considered and addressed where technically and operationally feasible; the journal does not claim independent certification against a particular web accessibility standard.
