Authorship Policy

TIK ILMEU – Jurnal Ilmu Perpustakaan dan Informasi expects authorship to accurately reflect the contributions made to the research and manuscript. Authorship should be based on substantial intellectual contributions, not academic position, institutional affiliation, supervision, or funding alone.

All listed authors should have contributed substantially to the research or manuscript, participated in drafting or revising the work, approved the final version, and agreed to be responsible for the published work.

The order of authors should be agreed upon by all authors before submission. The journal does not determine author order. The corresponding author is responsible for communication with the journal and for confirming that all authors have approved the submission.

Any request to add, remove, or reorder authors after submission must be agreed upon by all authors and explained to the editorial team. Changes to the author name or author order are only permitted during the peer-review process. Any request to add, remove, or change the order of authors after the review process has been completed will not be accepted.

Individuals who contributed to the work but do not meet the authorship criteria should be acknowledged rather than listed as authors, with their permission.

TIK ILMEU does not accept gift, guest, honorary, or ghost authorship. Any authorship dispute that cannot be resolved among the authors may be referred to the relevant institution or authority.
