Copyright Ownership

Copyright of all articles published in TIK Ilmeu: Jurnal Ilmu Perpustakaan dan Informasi is retained by the respective author(s).

Authors retain the copyright and publishing rights to their published work. By submitting a manuscript to TIK Ilmeu, authors do not transfer ownership of copyright to the journal or publisher.

Authors grant TIK Ilmeu: Jurnal Ilmu Perpustakaan dan Informasi the right of first publication and a non-exclusive right to publish, reproduce, distribute, archive, and make the article publicly available as part of the journal's scholarly publication.

Open Access and Licensing

TIK Ilmeu: Jurnal Ilmu Perpustakaan dan Informasi is an Open Access journal. All articles published by the journal are freely available to readers without subscription or access fees.

All published articles are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0).

Under the CC BY-SA 4.0 license, users are permitted to:

  • Share, copy, and redistribute the material in any medium or format.
  • Adapt, remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, including commercial purposes.

These permissions are subject to the following conditions:

Author Rights

Authors retain the following rights for articles published in TIK Ilmeu:

  1. To retain copyright ownership of their published article.

  3. To deposit and archive the published article in institutional repositories and other appropriate scholarly repositories.
  4. To use the published article for teaching, research, academic presentations, and other scholarly purposes.
  5. To reuse their published work, or portions thereof, in subsequent scholarly works, provided that appropriate acknowledgement of the original publication is given.

Rights Granted to the Journal

By publishing an article in TIK Ilmeu, authors grant the journal a non-exclusive right of first publication.

This right allows the journal to publish, reproduce, distribute, preserve, archive, and make the published article publicly accessible through the journal's website, OJS platform, journal archives, and appropriate scholarly indexing and repository services.

The granting of these rights does not transfer copyright ownership from the author(s) to TIK Ilmeu.

Third-Party Materials

Authors are responsible for ensuring that materials included in their manuscripts that are owned by third parties are properly cited and used in accordance with applicable copyright law, permissions, or licensing conditions.

Third-party materials that are not owned by the author(s) are not automatically covered by the CC BY-SA 4.0 license.

Attribution Requirement

Any redistribution, reproduction, adaptation, translation, or other reuse of an article published by TIK Ilmeu must appropriately acknowledge the original author(s) and publication source.

A recommended attribution should include the author(s), article title, journal name, publication year, volume and issue, page or article number where applicable, DOI or article URL, and the CC BY-SA 4.0 license.
