Dear Researchers, Academics, Librarians, Archivists, and Information Professionals,

We are pleased to invite you to submit your scholarly work to Tik Ilmeu: Jurnal Ilmu Perpustakaan dan Informasi, a peer-reviewed journal dedicated to advancing research, knowledge, and professional practice in the field of library and information science.

TIK Ilmeu provides an academic platform for researchers, academics, librarians, archivists, and information professionals to share original research, theoretical perspectives, innovative practices, and critical discussions on the evolving roles of libraries, information institutions, and information professionals in society.

Aims and Scope

TIK Ilmeu focuses on library and information studies encompassing diverse fields and applications of library and information science.

The journal welcomes scholarly contributions addressing the creation, organization, management, preservation, dissemination, accessibility, and use of information and library resources. It also welcomes research examining the development of libraries and information institutions in response to technological, social, cultural, and organizational changes.

We particularly welcome studies that present original empirical findings, theoretical contributions, innovative approaches, or practical implications for the development of libraries, information institutions, and the information profession.

Submission Guidelines

Authors are invited to submit manuscripts that meet the following requirements:

  • Manuscripts must be original and must not be under consideration for publication elsewhere.

  • Manuscripts must be relevant to the journal's aims and scope.

  • Manuscripts must follow the journal's author guidelines and manuscript template.

  • Manuscripts should be written in English and Indonesian.

  • Citations and references should follow APA 7th edition style.

  • Manuscripts should include an abstract, keywords, and complete references.

  • All submitted manuscripts will undergo a rigorous peer-review process.

Important Dates

  • Submission Deadline: [31st October 2026]

  • Notification of Acceptance: [15th November 2026]

  • Publication Date: [1st December 2026]
