Implementasi Knowledge Management pada Pengelolaan Repository UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta

Management of knowledge management is an important instrument in the university library, especially in managing the repository as one of the knowledge bases owned by each university. This article discusses the urgency and applicable procedures for implementing knowledge management in UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta Repository managers. The research method used is a qualitative approach through a literature review research design. The results of the study show that the UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta Repository manager can implement knowledge management through 3 models. First, sharing knowledge between repository managers, both with internal parties at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta and external parties, this is intended to broaden the knowledge horizons of managers in the field of repository management. Second, managing tacit knowledge owned by repository managers, for example by delegating repository managers to attend workshops and seminars titled repository. Third, managing explicit knowledge among repository managers, one of which is by making a guidebook that contains history, instructions, biographies, and challenges faced in managing the repository so that if there is employee rotation within the scope of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, the new repository manager does not feel hard to manage. This article contributes to studies around the application of knowledge management in libraries which are basically based on social cognitive theory.
