This study analyzes the role of global and multicultural education among Islamic Religious Education students with a qualitative approach through a literature study. Global and multicultural education has a crucial role in shaping the insight of Islamic Religious Education students to be more open, tolerant, and able to adapt to the dynamics of diverse societies. The study results indicate that understanding global and multicultural education is very important in increasing the awareness of Islamic Religious Education students towards the values of inclusivity, diversity, and critical thinking skills in facing global challenges. By understanding this concept, Islamic Religious Education students can be better prepared to carry out their roles as educators and agents of change who respect cultural differences and have a moderate Islamic perspective.
