About the Journal

Focus and Scope

The aim of this journal publication is to disseminate the conceptual thoughts or ideas and research results that have been achieved in the area of Islamic Education. The scope involves various research papers based upon research, theoretical ideas, and empirical experience.

The following are the scope of the journal:

  1. Scholarly Tradition of Islamic Education from Classical Islam Resources (e.g. Al-Quran, Al-Hadits, Foundation of Economics and Politics from Al-Quran, etc.)
  2. Educational Studies (e.g. Philosophy of Education, Foundation of Education, Politics and Policy of Education, Curriculum and Instruction, Educational Management, etc.)

Peer Review Process

The submitted manuscript is first reviewed by an editor. It will be evaluated in the office, whether it is suitable for Belajea: Jurnal Pendidikan Islam focus and scope or has a major methodological flaw and similiarity score by using iThenticate. The manuscript will be sent to at least two anonymous reviewers (Blind Review). Reviewers' comments are then sent to the corresponding author for necessary actions and responses. The suggested decision will be evaluated in an editorial board meeting. Afterwards, the editor will send the final decision to the corresponding author.

Publication Frequency

Belajea: Jurnal Pendidikan Islam published twice a year (May and November). Each issue number (issue) amounts to a minimum of five (5) the title.

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Plagiarism Check

Belajea: Jurnal Pendidikan Islam Editorial Board will ensure that every published article will not exceed 20% similarity Score. Plagiarism screening will be conducted by Belajea: Jurnal Pendidikan Islam Editorial Board using Turnitin

Journal Archiving

This journal utilizes the RJI Archive Journal System to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...
