About the Journal
Focus and Scope
AL QUDS: Jurnal Studi Alquran dan Hadis is a biannual and peer-reviewed journal dedicated to publish the scholarly study of Qur’an and Hadith from many different perspectives. Particular attention is paid to the works dealing with:
- Qur’anic and Hadith Studies with various perspectives of law, philosophy, mysticism, history, art, theology, sociology, anthropology, political science and others.
- Qur’anic and Hadith sciences
- Living Qur'an and Hadith
- Qur’anic and Hadith Stuides accros different areas in the world (The Middle East, The West, Archipelago and other areas)
- Methodology of Qur’an and Hadith studies
Peer Review Process
All manuscripts submitted to AL QUDS: Jurnal Studi Alquran dan Hadis must follow focus and scope, and author guidelines. The submitted manuscripts must address scientific merit or novelty appropriate to the focus and scope. All manuscripts must be free from plagiarism contents. All authors are suggested to use plagiarism detection softaware to do the similarity checking. The research article submitted to this journal will be blind peer-reviewed at least 2 (two) or more expert reviewers. The reviewers give scientific valuable comments improving the contents of the manuscript. Final decision of articles acceptance will be made by Editors according to reviewers comments. Publication of accepted articles including the sequence of published articles will be made by Editor in Chief by considering sequence of accepted date and geographical distribution of authors as well as thematic issue.
Publication Frequency
AL QUDS : Jurnal Studi Al Quran dan Hadis is published three times a year:
- Issue 1 : January - April
- Issue 2 : May - August
- Issue 3 : September - December
each issue consists of a minimum of ten articles.
Open Access Policy
Plagiarism Check
AL QUDS Editorial Board will ensure that every published article will not exceed 20% similarity Score. Plagiarism screening will be conducted by AL QUDS Editorial Board using Turnitin
Journal Archiving
This journal utilizes the OneSearch: Indonesia National Library to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration.
