Author Guidelines
The paper sent to our redaction will be considered for publication with the following criteria:
1. Before sending the article, the author must register in the web open journal system of the Jurnal Islamic Counseling. Can be http://journal.iaincurup.ac.id/index.php/JBK/user/register
2. The articles must follow the focus and scope of the Jurnal Islamic Counseling: Jurnal Bimbingan dan Konseling Islam.
3. The articles are the results of the writer's paper which do not indicate plagiarism which are evidenced by the results ofthe plagiarism check aplication by the editorial team. Plagiarism tolerance should be under 20 percent
5. Articles have not been published in journals or other publishing media or are in the process of publishing in other journals
6. Articles are the result of research or conceptual study.
7. Articles consist of 4000-6000 words outside of titles, abstracts, and bibliography
8. Articles are written in Indonesian
9. The organisation of the writing is followed the template of Jurnal Islamic Counseling: Jurnal Bimbingan dan Konseling Islam.
The article framework covers :
- Title: Written in black bold. Not more than 16 words. There should no be abbreviated sentences
- The author's name (without a academic title) is written in bold
- Author's institution, city and country
- Author's email address
- Abstract: Contains 250-300 words. The abstract of research paper should contain: purpose, method, and research finding. Meanwhile the abstract of non-research paper includes purpose, method and discussion.
- Keywords consist of 3-5 words
- Introduction: to explain the theoretical background, related research, the practical applications and the nature and purpose of the article.
- Methods: Method Section that describes the participants the materials the procedures employed in the study such as treatment(s) and data analysis.
- Results and Discussion: Results should be clear and concise. Discussion should explore the significance of the results of the work, not repeat them. A combined Results and Discussion section is often appropriate. Avoid extensive citations and discussion of published literature.
- Conclusion: The main conclusions of the study may be presented in a short conclusions section, which may stand alone or form a subsection of a discussion or Results and discussion section.

10. In writing references and bibliography using the Chicago Style 17th Edition
11. References used are not more than the last 7 year
12. It is recommended to use Zotero or Mendeley reference management
13. Willing to follow the rules and the process of publishing the Jurnal Islamic Counseling: Jurnal Bimbingan dan Konseling Islam
14. Before submitting, MAKE SURE that the article is really in accordance with the theme and author guidelines.
