Omission dalam Bahasa Minangkabau (Studi Kasus di Gang Gerindo 3)

The regional language is a language that reflects the characteristics, self-identity, and also the national cultural wealth of each region. This research in the form of a case study aims to describe and analyze language errors at the level of omission of vocabulary in the Minangkabau language in the Gerindo gang 3. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method. Through the descriptive method the Minangkabau language vocabulary data will be described. The data retrieval technique used in the form of recording, inducement, and note-taking techniques used to determine omission in the Minangkabau language. The source of data in this study is the Minangkabau language. The results of the analysis show that there are 15 Minangkabau vocabularies which have a word structure that is almost similar to Indonesian, but there are some missing elements. Vocabulary in the Minangkabau language obtained include: pare, mato, piying, tipih, kulik, Kapalo, jatuah, ujan, langik, lamo, tibo, namo, Barangang, jantuang, Bungo. Based on the results and discussion, the researchers concluded that there were errors in the omission of elements in the Minangkabau language vocabulary when translated into Indonesian.
