Author Guidelines

The paper sent to our redaction will be considered for publication if meeting the following criteria:

Title The title should be less than 15 words, capitalized each word, centered, bold, font Time News Roman with font size 14 with single space.

Author, ownership, and e-mail The Journal operates a peer review process and promotes blind reviewing. To facilitate this process, author’s names (without academic titles), institutional affiliations, and the email address of the corresponding author should appear only on a detachable cover sheet.

Abstract/Abstract Abstract should be written in English and Indonesian in single space and submitted to the Journal should normally be between 1,50 to 2,00 words and On the abstract, explicitly write in bold: Introduction, objective of the papers, method, findings, and conclusion.

Keyword/Keyword Below the abstract, about four keywords should appear together with the main body of the article

Journal script The manuscripts should normally be between 25 pages with single spacing and font Time News Roman with font size 12, justify. Manuscripts must include an introduction, a review of relevant literature (this part may be merged with the introduction or written in a separate section), a clear description of the method/methodology, a summary of the findings, a discussion on the implications of the findings, conclusions, and references

Preliminary: The introduction should contain (in sequence) a general background, a state of the art review as the basis for a scientific novelty statement of an article, a statement of scientific novelty, and a research or hypothesis problem. Introduction may also refer to some of the literature that is the reason for the study. At the end of the introduction should be written the purpose of review of the article. In the format of scientific articles there is no bibliographical review as in the research report, but is manifested in the form of a state of the art review to show the scientific novelty of the article. In this introduction can also be loaded methods used in solving research problems, and not written in separate sub-chapters.

Script Content: Contains discussions in accordance with the theme of the manuscript. In the discussion consists of sub-sub-discussion in accordance with the theme. The use of subtitles in the discussion in accordance with the purposes of discussion. If the discussion is the result of research, then write down the findings obtained from the research and supported by adequate data. Quotation and references follow Chicago style format with Times New Roman font 10 and the latter should be included at the end of the article in the following examples: footnote of the book; quotes from previous sources; journal articles; website. Supporting instruments Supporting instruments can be images (graphs / charts) or tables. Images / tables are recommended in black and white format, and if made in a color format, it must be ensured that it can still be read clearly when the script is printed in black and white. The drawings / tables should be numbered and summarized above with the format; centered, TNR 10, space 1. Table contents are written in TNR 10 format, space 1.

Conclusion The conclusion section consists of the summary, restatement of the main findings. Conclusion written bold (bold) without heading.

Bibliographical reference must be noted in footnote and bibliography according to FOKUS: Jurnal Kajian Keislaman dan Kemasyarakatan style.

  1. The paper will be reviewed and edited without changing any substantial content.
  2. The transliterated paper must be based on the transliterating rules.
  3. The rejected paper will be notified to the author via OJS or email.

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

If this paper is accepted for publication, you will not be asked to pay an Article Publication Fee to cover publications costs.
